Janice Studied Interior Design at Northern Illinois University and Fine
Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Right after college, she received wonderful training with a major retailer
in the Chicago area. This led to her implementing the retailer's training
program for new Interior Designers.
Janice started her own design firm when she realized how important it was
to develop personal touches of her business that could be tailored to her
clients needs and to develop solid working relationships with her vendors and
subcontractors. Janice McCabe Interior Design has been located in Los Gatos
California since 1986. Using only the best materials and subcontractors she has
had a successful design business for over 20 years. She loves helping her
clients through their redecorating and remodeling projects.

She has also worked with businesses helping to create their "Image"
with their clients, specializing in reception areas and executive spaces.
Janice McCabe Interior Design has been featured in several publications
including: Gentry Magazine, Sunset Books Color, Sunset Books Window Treatments,
Bay Living, Mercury News, Audio Video Interiors, and Designers Illustrated.
She has traveled extensively through Europe and especially loves the South
of France and Italy. She likes to incorporate pieces from her travels and her
client's travels to add that special quality of interest or "conversation
pieces." She has worked thoughout the United States and is always interested in discussing new projects.
Janice is a member of the ASID (American Society for Interior
Designers); a board member on the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce for seven years;
and a board member and current president of the Los Gatos Community Foundation.
